Join artist Laura Hathaway at the Calbourne Water Mill to create abstract paper paintings inspired by the changing landscape at Compton Bay.

Get creative using natural materials collected by Laura from Compton Beach such as clays, pebbles, shells, seaweed and dried plants. Your paintings will join many others created by young people across the Isle of Wight, becoming part of a large paper installation that will be displayed at Compton Bay for the CAN YOU HEAR US? celebrations in September and October.

CAN YOU HEAR US? is a six-week celebration of creativity and culture taking place across the Isle of Wight between 11th September and 24th October. Aiming to celebrate everything the Island is, nurture creativity in every corner, and make sure creativity and culture are part of daily life for everyone.
