We’re opening our gates for an open access visit, inviting you to explore a working allotment site, see what’s growing and learn how local people cultivate fresh fruit, vegetables, and flowers while sharing skills, knowledge, and a love of the outdoors.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or simply curious about what happens behind our hedgerows, you are warmly invited to wander around the plots, enjoy the surroundings, and meet the people who help the site flourish. Come and have a free cuppa and chat!

Look out for
Buzzards soaring overhead,
Woodpeckers in the trees,
You may also spot pheasants moving through the hedgerows
and a variety of small native birds filling the air with song.
Resident squirrels darting between our Oak trees,
and rabbits making their way across the grassy verges.
These natural visitors are part of what makes our site so special, showing how growing your own food and wildlife can live side by side in balance.

If you’ve ever thought about growing your own food, or simply just enjoy peaceful green spaces, this is a perfect opportunity to explore something a little different. It’s relaxed, informal, and open to everyone. Come and have a free cuppa and chat!
We’re lucky to be located in a lovely semi-rural area with narrow lanes. Please park considerately on Wyatts Lane or Pallance Lane, close to the site and follow the signs to the allotments when you arrive.
Once on site, you’ll find that some of the ground is uneven in places, as is typical of a working allotment. We’re sorry, but this does mean access will be limited to those with mobility issues. and the site may not be suitable for wheelchair users.
