Balsam Bashing

Join the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust in getting hands on with the non-native, invasive plant species Himalayan balsam, removing it from the river in this volunteer session.

Help us maintain the precious diversity of our Eastern Yar catchment before this harmful vegetation can go to seed.

This activity will be led by our reserves team.

You don’t need any special knowledge or experience to take part in our Balsam bashing day, but you must be aged 18 + years old. Dogs are not allowed on this volunteer event.
