Gurnard: a village in the Biosphere

  • Gurnard Village Hall 54 Worsley Road Cowes, England, PO31 8JR United Kingdom (map)

An eclectic two day showcase of local projects in the village hall at Gurnard.

Local businesses, interest groups,  artists, environmental groups, community growing and crafts people will be showcasing what they make or do. The focus is on how the hall, local businesses or the voluntary contributions of many residents supports the health and wellbeing of our local community and environment.

Home made refreshments will be available throughout the sessions which are 10:30am to 2.30pm Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th.

Free, just drop in.

Refreshments available (donations, welcome!)

There is very limited parking at the hall so ideally visitors will walk, cycle or be dropped off. Limited parking is available in surrounding streets.

There are steps through Lynda’s Wood, part of King Charles’ Coastal Path,  or a steep path (without steps)  up from the beach where the Gurnard Sailing Club Dinghy Championship races will be taking place.
