Join us for an open day at the Gift to Nature Community Tree Nursery, a growing hub for local biodiversity, conservation, and community action.
This free, family-friendly event offers a chance to explore how locally sourced native trees are grown from seed and prepared for planting across the Isle of Wight. Whether you’re a seasoned grower or simply curious, there’s something for everyone.
On the day you can:
Learn about seed collection, propagation, and tree growing techniques
See the nursery in action, including young saplings at different stages
Find out how trees are used to support hedgerows, woodlands, and biodiversity projects
Speak with volunteers and partners about getting involved
Take part in informal demonstrations and discussions
There will also be a limited selection of native broadleaf trees and hedging mixes available, subject to availability.
This is a relaxed, informal event — drop in at any time and stay as long as you like.
No parking available on-site.
