Join us for an open day at the Gift to Nature Community Tree Nursery, a growing hub for local biodiversity, conservation, and community action.

This free, family-friendly event offers a chance to explore how locally sourced native trees are grown from seed and prepared for planting across the Isle of Wight. Whether you’re a seasoned grower or simply curious, there’s something for everyone.

On the day you can:

• Learn about seed collection, propagation, and tree growing techniques

• See the nursery in action, including young saplings at different stages

• Find out how trees are used to support hedgerows, woodlands, and biodiversity projects

• Speak with volunteers and partners about getting involved

• Take part in informal demonstrations and discussions

There will also be a limited selection of native broadleaf trees and hedging mixes available, subject to availability.

This is a relaxed, informal event — drop in at any time and stay as long as you like. All welcome.
