Ocean Flow Yoga at Compton Beach

  • Compton Bay Military Road Compton, PO30 4HB United Kingdom (map)

Join Tanya Hendy for a deeply nourishing yoga experience on the wild and beautiful shores of Compton Bay, Isle of Wight — where sweeping cliffs, open skies and the rhythm of the sea create the perfect space to reconnect with our beautiful land and seascape.

This session is inspired by the natural ebb and flow of the ocean, inviting you to move, breathe and rest in harmony with the tides. Rooted in the principles of UNESCO’s Ocean Literacy programme, the practice encourages a deeper awareness of our relationship with the ocean -  not just as something we visit, but something we are intrinsically part of.

The session is gentle flow yoga, including meditation and breathing exercises. Each movement connects breath with motion, creating a sense of continuity and calm. With the sound of the sea as your backdrop, this is a space to feel grounded, expanded and reconnected - to nature, to the ocean, and to yourself. Thanks to the National Trust for permission to use this space.

Booking required, head here to reserve your space.
