Arty walk along Shalfleet Creek

  • The New Inn Pub Shalfleet Newport, England, PO30 4NF United Kingdom (map)

Come and explore the Isle of Wight National Landscape with art walk leader Lucia Para.

Flowing with the creek at high tide, we’ll explore ways to connect with the qualities of water and the surrounding beautiful landscape.

Lucia Para is an Italian artist and educator and will share how drawing as a form of observation can enrich our life and wellbeing with joyful moments of connection with nature.

All levels of ability welcome. Please bring along something to sit on, a sketchbook or A4 clipboard and loose drawing paper and your favourite art materials - a small watercolour set might be fun to use (not necessary).

The walk is around 1 mile and very accessible. Outdoor footwear recommended, even wellies if you fancy get closer to the water. No public toilets, but local pub at the start and end of the walk has all services.
