Naked Figleaf Press & Monkton Arts presents Writing the Biosphere as part of the Eco-Vision celebrations.
Join Jean G-Owen for a lively workshop inspired by the Isle of Wight and the landscapes of Ryde. Experiment with short poetic form including monstick, postcard- and micro-poetry, discovering how a few chosen words can evoke an entire place.
We'll take a gentle walk down to Ryde seafront, using the island's coastline, atmosphere and natural environment as inspiration.
Lunch is included in the ticket price, so you can enjoy a burger while writing, chatting and sharing work.
Bring a notebook, comfortable shoes and enthusiasm.
Open to beginners, seasoned writers and anyone curious about poetry and place.
£10 per person
Tickets available from: https://www.nakedfigleafpress.com/event-details/writing-the-biosphere
