Movement, Mindfulness and a Medieval Monument

  • Enchanted Manor Sandrock Road PO38 2NG United Kingdom (map)

Mobilising flow and story telling followed by guided walk

There's been much talk about rewilding the environment in recent years, and rightly so, but what about rewilding ourselves? I believe the "modern" way of life is the cause of most health and social problems faced by society today and the only way to fix this is by looking to our ancestors. We'll start each session with a mobilising flow aimed at opening "screen shoulders" from being hunched in front of devices for too long. We'll then hear a short story, "Heidi", about a little girl who gets sick after moving from the mountains to the city, before heading up to our own local mountain - also known as St Catherine's Down. Along the way, I'll share my own rewilding journey and the small steps we can all take to live a life that is more sustainable for both ourselves and the planet. The session will then finish with an optional tree hug. Bring a yoga mat, wellies and an open mind!
