Bonchurch Open Gardens is a much-loved annual event inviting visitors to explore acollection of 15+ private gardens across the historic village of Bonchurch on the Isle of Wight. For two afternoons, garden gates are opened to reveal everything from cottage-style planting and wildlife-friendly spaces to established coastal gardens with sea views.
Visitors can wander at their own pace using a printed map (available on the day), enjoy refreshments, and experience the unique character of Bonchurch — a village known for its microclimate, creative history and lush greenery.
This is a relaxed, community-led event that offers inspiration for gardeners, a chance to connect with nature, and an opportunity to support local initiatives.
